Eucharistic Miracles – true or false?

Who had ever heard of the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano and the scientific evidence?

If science had actually shown that bread and wine had changed to flesh and blood, why was it not front page news, for Science and Religion? If it was true, would not public knowledge of it change the mindset of humanity?

So was it a fraud? Was there a lack of evidence? Was the Scientific testing flawed?  Why has the Catholic Church been so slow to talk about it? And how does the Catholic Church defend its claim of the miraculous

Scientific investigation of the Eucharistic Miracle of Buenos Aires, the facts, – the evidence and the findings

As a lawyer and a documentary filmmaker, Ron Tesoriero, was fortunate to have led the scientific investigation of the Eucharistic Miracle of Buenos Aires of 1996, called for by Pope Francis when he was the Archbishop of the city.

Ron had now the chance to personally probe answers to the many questions that he had about Eucharistic Miracles.

The Eucharistic Miracle of Buenos Aires happened in 1996 when a communion host appeared to have mysteriously transformed into flesh and blood.

Ron had the privileged opportunity to meet and interview witnesses, to cross examine them, to film their testimonies, to visit the scene of the happenings, and to view in its initial stage the transformed material before any testing was done.

But most importantly, Ron was given the opportunity to scientifically test the samples that were taken, and to have those samples tested with what Science could offer in the latest technologies of Pathology and DNA analysis. Ron filmed the whole process. He was given complete freedom as to the scientific testing and there was no Church influence.

The results were truly amazing and they continue to baffle scientists.

Ron Tesoriero has documented the story in his books My Human Heart, Reason to Believe, Unseen, and documentaries Blood of Christ Part 1 and Blood of Christ Part 2.

Eucharistic Miracle of Buenos Aires Scientific proof. Can the Eucharistic Miracle of Buenos Aires be debunked?

Forensic Pathologist Dr Frederick Zugibe, interviewed by Investigative Journalist, Mike Willesee, and Lawyer, Ron Tesoriero on the Eucharistic Miracle of Buenos Aires

Ron Tesoriero had invited renowned senior Australian Television Investigative journalist, Mike Willesee, in early 2000 to join the investigation.

On 20th April 2004, Mike and Ron presented a pathology slide of the sample of the Eucharistic Miracle of Buenos Aires to Dr Frederick Zugibe in New York, to examine it.  No one else was present.

Ron chose Dr Zugibe to do the examination, following his extensive research into the relevant areas of Pathology and into the experts in respective fields.

Dr Zugibe was a New York Heart specialist and a forensic pathologist. He was also an associate professor and the author of a text book on Pathology.

Ron knew nothing of Dr Zugibe’s religious belief beforehand and he was told nothing of the origin of the sample. Dr Zugibe had no trouble identifying what he was seeing under the microscope.

With just Mike and Ron in the room and a rolling camera, we were to hear and record Dr Zugibe’s most astounding comments, which have now been reverberated throughout the world:

“this is heart muscle from the left ventricle wall of the heart not too far from a valvular area… It is from a living person who had suffered severe heart injury a matter of a few days beforehand. It is not unlike cases where a person has been severely beaten around the chest”.

Ron Tesoriero provides more on this outstanding investigation in his books My Human Heart, Reason to Believe, Unseen, and his documentary Blood of Christ Part 1 – The Argentina Case.

Advanced Pathology and DNA testing has now been done on the Eucharistic Miracle of Buenos Aires.

The extraordinary results are presented in the documentaries, Blood of Christ Part 3 – The Code of Christ, The Eucharistic Miracle of Buenos Aires: Science Challenges Atheism and the book My Human Heart.
